Hi Corinne

Easily done isn't it?!

As you are feeling queasy I think, to be on the safe side, I would check with the pharmacist who should be able to advise on the safety aspect. Phoning the doctor would probably be useless ... certainly ours as you can never get to speak to anyone who is any use!!

Hope you get on okay.

Hi Corrinne

I'm on 6 a day.I was told to take mine morning and evening. I wouldn't like to give advice but my rheumy said that you can take up to 8 a day so it might not be too bad. However- I agree with Lyn, it might be worth checking as you aren't on maximum dose.

Take care

Hi again

Just seen the time of your post so my reply is probably too late!

I am supposed to be on 4 and only take 3, reason being was by the evening dose I would feel wretched.

On asking the rheumy whether I could actually try taking them all at one go he said that was suitable. I now take the three together every morning before breakfast.

Love,

Amanda

I acccidentally doubled my dose of statins - the 20mg & 40mg look almost the same. I took 80mg for a few days before I realised. It doesn't appear to have done me any harm. I had a blood test last week and it was ok.

Hi Corinne

I expect by now you've sorted this, but I inadvertantly took four in one go last week (instead of two - I just wasn't concentrating) and I was okay.
